2011 World Netball Championships Singapore
Singapore will be the host to the 2011 World Netball Championships. This was confirmed according to the Sunday Times published today.
Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports Vivian Balakrishnan witnessed the signing ceremony yesterday. The International Federation of Netball Associations (IFNA) and Netball Singapore officially signed the deal at the Singapore Flyer function room on 5 July 2008.
This event was attended by IFNA president Molly Rhone and chairman of the 2011 organising committee and Member of Parliament (MP) for East Coast GRC Jessica Tan, as well as Netball Singapore president Tan Wee Khim.
