Catch Asafa Powell If You Can
As part of the "Power of Youth" campaign for the Games, SYOGOC recently launched an online viral video to build up awareness of the Games. Titled "Asafa Catch Me If You Can", the viral video featured one of the fastest men in history and Olympic gold medallist from Jamaica, Asafa Powell being challenged to a run by an intrepid teenager.
Seeded online through popular social networks such as Twitter, MySpace, Facebook and Youtube, the viral video has created intrigue and sparked the interest of youth from around the world. It has led to increased traffic to the Youth Olympic Games website and greater international awareness of the event.
