The Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games (YOGOC) Organizing Committee is calling for volunteers to help out in the coming Youth Olympic Games (YOG). There will be many opportunities for the interested to step forward and contribute in a significant way. Your help matters.
What can I do as a volunteer?
You’ll have the chance to choose your preferred role on the volunteer application form.
Job Area, Job Description:
Sports
You may be deployed at respective sporting events as:
-"runners"/ marshals
-Admin Staff
-Recorders, etc
Culture & Education
You may be deployed at the various cultural and educational events and facilities as:
-Project managers and event facilitators
-Events assistants -Admin assistance
-Junior / assistant ambassadors, etc
Venues & Facilities
You may be deployed at any of the sporting venues as:
-Marshals
-Safety personnel
-Spectator interaction, etc
Administrative Areas
Persons with relevant qualified skills may be deployed in the following areas during pre-games and post-games:
-HR
-Marketing and ticketing
-Media and Digital Media
-Communications
Other General Interest
You may be deployed in any position as determined by Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (YOGOC) where no necessary skill set is required.
The Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Committee Organising Committee (SYOGOC) is looking for 5000 local and 2000 international volunteers.
